Framing Your Beauty.
It is often said that the proper selection of a frame can make a good painting exceptional. The same holds true with your beauty.
Hello, my name is Nancy Richard. I am a licensed aesthetician and an optician, certified in SofTap permanent cosmetics as a technician and instructor. I have applied permanent cosmetics for 19 years and have owned a school, teaching permanent cosmetics for 16 years. I have a strong clinical background, having built an Aesthetic Program for a local plastic surgeon. Thousands of women like yourself have benefited from my services. Their personal beauty has been enhanced by the artistic framing I do. Just as a proper frame draws attention to the strengths of the painting, together we can select how best to enhance the strengths of your eyes, brows, and lips, and help with completing the final result of a mastectomy surgery.
If you have an interest in permanent cosmetics, give me a call. Together we can frame your beauty with exceptional care.
Permanent Cosmetics Frequently Asked Questions
Do permanent cosmetics have to hurt a lot?
New topical anesthetics have been developed, especially for permanent cosmetics for eyeliner, eyebrows, and lip color procedures. These creams and gels are applied to the desired area before and during the procedure to assure you the most comfortable experience possible. It is common to hear that the procedure was a pleasant surprise.
How long will it take to recover? Other than having to use a light ointment on the procedure area for four to seven days, you can return to your daily activities.
How long will my permanent cosmetics last?
As you become accustomed to your new cosmetics, it’s not uncommon to want more. You will want to freshen up your new cosmetic makeup every couple of years.
Can I get my permanent cosmetics cheaper?
Remember the old saying, “You get what you pay for.” It saves you money and embarrassment to do it right the first time!
What if I have plastic or laser surgery?
Advise your surgeon that you have permanent cosmetics. Properly applied cosmetics should have little or no effect from cosmetic surgery.
What does a complete procedure consist of?
Each procedure consists of an evaluation where color is chosen and a health history is completed. Before and after photos are taken to help both the client and technician maintain the client’s natural features. Also included is a follow-up visit about one month after the initial procedure.
What exactly is permanent cosmetics?
Permanent cosmetic makeup is the art and science of implanting color into your skin. It is putting the right color in the right place so you can look better naturally. Specialized instruments allow your technician to place color into the layer of the skin known as the dermis. Because the outermost layer of skin, the epidermis, is always shedding and renewing itself, you are looking at the color through a thin veil of skin. When your procedure is completed, the color will appear darker than the final result. This is because the color is in both the epidermis and the dermis. The color in the top layer will flake off during the healing process.
Will I really look like myself … only better?
Permanent cosmetic makeup helps replenish what time has taken away and gives back precious time you normally spend “putting on your face.” You can save up to 100 hours in a single year that were formerly spent struggling to draw eyebrows evenly or eyeliner half-way straight. That’s two and one-half weeks of free time, plus the money you’ll save buying new and expensive cosmetics that rub off, smear, smudge, and disappear during the day.
